Code of Conduct

Policy for Code of Conduct

Following the Code of Conduct

Policy Perspectives

Our Code of Conduct is divided into nine (9) categories that provide rules that all Z-JANS employees should follow to direct conduct in all areas:

Safeguarding Data, Information, and Intellectual Property

Z-JANS prioritize protecting sensitive, proprietary, and private information, as does its workforce and clientele.
Thus, every employee must take precautions to protect such data. Workers are not permitted to utilize proprietary, sensitive, or secret Z-JANS information in any way that would be against the Organization’s best interests or illegal Conflict of Interest.
All staff members and board members must use sound judgment, uphold the highest moral standards, and behave in a way that keeps them clear of any current or future conflicts of interest. When a board member or employee’s personal, professional, or business interests collide with Z-JANS’s, there is a conflict of interest. Own or private interests can also include those of family members, close friends, business partners, and associates to identify a conflict of interest.

Kinds of conflicts of interest:

There are many instances in which one may be required to report a conflict of interest; therefore, it’s critical to be aware of them and the requirement to disclose any conflicts of interest. When determining if there is a conflict of interest, the following variables may be taken into account
Similarly, any workers or other parties who engage with the company must declare any conflicts of interest as soon as they materialize. In this sense, all staff members must disclose financial interests and anybody providing Z-JANS with guidance or consulting.

Substance Abuse

Z-JANS is dedicated to giving its workers a drug- and alcohol-free, safe, and healthy work environment and to appropriately handling any abuse that occurs while an employee is under the influence of either of these substances
This applies within and outside of regularly planned working hours to all employees of the Organization, as well as to guests, consultants, contractors, and other individuals who work for the Organization either directly or indirectly

Gifts

Every Z-JANS employee must ensure that hospitality and presents are provided and accepted responsibly, within the permitted limitations stated in the gifts policy.
The workers place the highest significance on the rule that while hospitality and other business etiquette may be appropriate to promote goodwill, they should never be used to sway decisions made by staff members or customers or compromise the integrity of our business relationships
